About LFR
The LFR at Oberderdingen is a public secondary modern school providing general education. More than 600 pupils attend the school counting with its open, bright and modern construction to the architectural most beautiful school buildings in Baden-Württemberg.
40 teachers belong to our staff. The daily business at our school is supported by one secretary and two facility managers.
We are also member of the worldwide net of innovative schools.

Location
The LFR at Oberderdingen is located at the outskirts of the rurally coined Kraichgau belonging to the administrative district of Karlsruhe. The community of Oberderdingen (approx. 10 000 inhabitants) is the local authority the school belongs to. The village is well known because of the two internationally operating employers E.G.O. and the subsidiary BLANCO.
Both enterprises offer or take over many of our pupils for practical training and apprenticeship.
Furthermore, there are several small and medium sized companies in the wine growing community of Oberderdingen.
Community, companies and school are in close contact - partially confirmed by cooperation contracts.
Our pupils come from Oberderdingen, Bahnbrücken, Bauerbach, Diefenbach, Flehingen, Gochsheim, Großvillars, Kürnbach, Sternenfels, Sulzfeld and Zaisenhausen.

Guidelines
In order to meet the various demands and expectations of modern school life some basics such as good behaviour, a friendly school environment and a cooperative style of management are necessary.
Out of this reason we worked out the following guidelines which are also inclined to express our future orientation. We comprehend it as a constant challenge to check our behaviour and work in relation to our guidelines.
The guidelines are compulsive for everyone. We understand it as a constant task to follow our guidelines and to work on the timely realization of all those issues being still open. We want that all basic ideas and targets of the guidelines can be called in from everybody taking part in school life.
